Laurie’s Portrait Session

Meet Laurie! You probably recognize her from the Agway in Ligonier. She has been the bookkeeper there for 20 years! She is also very active in the BPW (Business and Professional Women). She is involved in the state, district, and is an asset to our Ligonier Valley local. Last year she was district director of our regional chapters. She has a warm smile, heart of gold, and a funny sense of humor. We’ve had many giggles together. I am glad to call her my friend!

Small Things Often

October 14, 2022

This was a fun project! Faith needed a variety of photos for her website and social media. She owns “Small Things Often”, where you are provided with therapeutic opportunities through her unique experiences. There is an office here in Ligonier where she offers counseling services for individuals, couples, and families. She also provides “couple” workshops. She teaches yoga and is a Grief Yoga Certified Instructor as well. 

Another offering she has is Mindful Outdoor Experiences, which is AWESOME! It involves walking through the forest with her guiding you to really be in the moment. What do you hear? What do you smell? Dr. Ben Carson

Despite the rain, we had another great event for Dr. Ben Carson! I look forward to photographing him every year. The Carson Scholars Fund awards students who have high levels of academic excellence and community service. 

Another amazing project Ben and his wife, Candy, created is the Ben Carson Reading Rooms. They provide funding to schools to build and maintain a warm safe place for children to discover the joy of independent leisure reading. They have over 250 of these rooms across the United States. My friend Heather Juliussen created this new business and women with large breasts are going to want to read this!

Golden Hour with my Cub

I have been so busy the past month with private events and unfortunately, I cannot share them with you. I am so grateful for having these same events year after year. When I am not taking photos for my business, I am taking them for myself. This Cub right here is the reason for my existence. He is why I push myself every day to be better. To work harder. To grow and to learn, together. The two most important things in my life…my Cub and my Business. It takes A LOT to run a business, but it takes even more to raise a son. 

This is what we do…trail blaze through the forest, climb trees, and stop to smell the wildflowers. Life would be boring without him. I hope you enjoy these golden hour portraits. I am working on posting more of my life with you all.
