On May 5 of this year K-9 Handler Lt. Eric Eslary was killed by a drunk driver in a wrong way crash. His K-9 partner Blek survived. However, Eric was tragically taken away to soon from so many amazing people, including the woman he loved the most; his wife Mary Beth. They were together a total of eight years. Today, August 10th, they would have been married three. This is their first Anniversary without each other. Mary Beth wanted something truly unique with this photo session. I am so happy and completely honored I could bring her thoughts to life. The last time they will smile with each other. The last time they will hold hands. The last time they will take a picture together, in this lifetime. I would be lying if I said I never cried while working on this project. Mary Beth is such a strong woman. My heart truly aches for her. I hope she can find comfort in these photos that will last forever! I want to thank Mary Beth for providing me with a couple photos of Eric. Also thank you to Officer Robert Shapiro for sharing some of his photos of Eric as well.
